Often, w/hauntings' there's a reason(s) for them. If you feel comfortable w/talking to t/child ghost tell him/her to go to t/light to find peace, love, rephrence in knowing there not alone & will have helping spirit(s) waiting/wanting to help him/her. But this doesn't always help, as I'm finding out for I have my own ghost(s) wanting some help but not sure where this might go? (For us-t/spirit & myself). Then no matter what you do/try t/restless spirit(s) may not ever leave, but if t/ghost isn't causeing any major problems.....like throwing/being physicaly abusive then why worry? Maybe he/her wants a friend or playmate, they may not know their dead (from t/physical body). But I'm dealing w/a totally different situation than you are, though very similar.
