Hello Miss,

I understand your feelings. My mother felt the same way. My sister is coming home from boot camp today, and I cant wait to see her. She has written us many letters because their writing privileges are UN limited. The DI's do not ask the recruits to �lie� of any kind when either writing or speaking to their family and friends, about the things they go through there. My sister was VERY honest. Now, some can�t handle boot camp for reasons, and drop out. Those who are strong make it to the graduation. My sister graduated today and all throughout her training experience in Paris Island, she has enjoyed every minute of it! She hardly complained at all. Now, I know you may have a son going through the same things, except different because he�s a man. (Or soon will be) But, they are treated (man and woman) equally when it comes to training, and my sister says it�s not all that bad. Yes, she did get a chance to call home. But that�s because their platoon won a championship tournament and were given a 10 min calling card. So you just might hear from him! And for your worries, give them to God�. because He controls everything. He is looking out for your son, ma�am! You will see your son again soon! And I promise you he will be a different boy from when you sent him out. He will be a man! God Bless America! God Bless you. I will pray for you.
