I just had to jump in on this one since you brought up my name and used some misleading statements.

I cannot speak for Ray Smith but I have heard he has done a lot of good for the residents of Starwood and this area in general.

As for the meeting which I held at my house during the holiday season, you were never invited but you invited yourself. I did not know much about you and considered inviting you but it was not my decission alone to not invite you...I actually considered it. I did know that had I invited you some of the others probably would not have attended.

I considered having a follow up meeting for other cc members and community leaders also. The reason I did not is: 1. You raised such a childish stink about me not inviting you and even then I still considered the possibility later on. 2. Immediately after the holiday season my husband, Dave, having a history of CANCER and very nearly losing his lIFE a few years back, had not one, not two, but three surgeries in a period of less than a month. I hate to have to mention all this on a public message board because it is a private issue. However, since you are so quick to point fingers let me also say that during our lunch there was discussion about the prevelance of cancer in not only my family but in every other person's family who attended the lunch.

We all talked about our individual, heartrenching experience with son's , husband's, etc. Tracie, I know that you seem to be a caring person and I couldn't understand why you sat there stone faced as If these kinds of personal tragedies did not have any effect on you.

So can you understand why I chose to not have you over to speak at my house? If you think that I am just a biased thinking person possibly manipulated by others...Just ask Michael Osuna about the email correspondance I had with him prior to my husbands medical problems. We had planned to meet so I could understand him from first hand communication...Like I told him, I do not ever prejudge people. I NEVER give in to peer pressure and I always examine each issue from all angles.

I still would like to meet Michael Osuna at some point in the future.
