Alot of what you said in your posting is accurate
however a couple of keys facts are missing such
as the City Attorney after doing an exhaustive
investagation(at the taxpayer's expense) came
to the conclusion that Mr. Spears was in fact
not qualified to be appointed to the Commission
due to the tax issue. I also would ask you why
would you want someone who filed bankruptcy in
the mid 80"s and then almost exactly 7 years later
files bankruptcy again. I can understand once
especially in the 80's but TWICE!!! Personally
I would not want someone on an important board
like P & Z who could not even manage his own affairs.
I don't think many other people would either.
