hi, my mom sings a old song,she is in her 80's and has always sung it so I know it is a very old song. Not sure of the correct name for it. Im hoping to find it on tape or cd some where. some of the lyrics are:

Strange I never seen to tire as i climb
and heavens getting nearer all the time,
I can see the fountain play and
december's just like may,
and I'm climbing jacob's ladder everyday

I am climbing jacob's ladder every day
And I praise the lord
I ever found this way, when this worlds is on fire
you may know I've gone up higher
and Im climbing jacob's ladder everyday
