Please help identify this song & artist...I only have the last half of this song recorded from a college radio station, probably a '70's/'80's glam/punk song, definitely British...the lyrics are, in this order:
--chorus: "listen to what I'm saying, why don't you start you're praying",
--in background: "start here"(repeated 5 times),
--lead vocal(sung/spoken w/ animated English accent, early Bowie-like): "well the gear is complete, go out & compete against the other miles, so be sure that you know the men you got file"(?),
--repeat chorus & background vocal,
--piano, & then a guitar riff to the end.
