there was a song my mom used to sing to me as a child ( she has long passed) i would love to teach it to my daughter. the last lines are " but late that night when the sandman arrived , just imagine his great surprise. cuddled up in bed with the sleepy head , was the little rag doll, with the shoe button eyes" the song was about a little girl with a rag doll...then someone gives her a new doll she plays with all day, but yet , takes her old worn & beloved doll to bed with her. thank you for any help you can offer
