 Don't ask why I didn't jot the name of the group down while I saw them on TV (Song didn't grow on me just then) but:

I'm trying to find the name of the group that was on a late night show:

Either conan/letterman or jay. This was less than 2 months ago. Female lead vocalist. electric guitar.. drums.. etc.

heard it again somewhere (radio station) i think just a few nights ago.. this means its probably a 'known' hit.. I tried browsing the top 100 sales at amazon.com listening to each track sample with no luck..

Whos the latest up and rising rock/alternative group with a lead female vocalist?

Sorry for the few clues. I wouldn't be asking if I knew any single lyric from it because I could probably find out. ;(
