Too out of it to overhear Rashkae's remarks, she merely leans subconsciously into the comforting prescence. "I didn't either..." she replies to Calydor, "but I suppose we all will come across something we didn't think possible at some point in our lives." Her voice shifts to mental, speaking only to herself. What would have gone different if I would have kept my head instead of rushing out there like a fool? Would the shield have worked? She gives her head the slightest of shakes. Some things we'll never know, and I guess this is one of them. As if suddenly realizing that it wasn't over yet, she stiffens and forces herself to remain alert.
