K-12 Technology Activities That Work
By Linda Starr

I really have enjoyed this website and in the process have come across a bunch of useful articles and resources that I have found helpful and hope you do to. This article in particular, K-12 Technology Activities That Work, discussed a variety of technology integrated experiences that other teachers have done with success in the classroom. They not only give a good description of the projects but also have links to check out the actual projects and assessments. The one project that I felt was particularly good was a middle school one in which students in a history class were given the assignment to examine the events of the Civil War. Students were then divided into groups and took on the role of a virtual tour guide. The group needed to locate pictures on the internet and develop a presentation about it. I thought this was a wonderful way to integrate technology with many other subjects.
