Time....we are all doing so much that finding more time to do more is getting difficult. Learning and incorporating technology does take a lot of time. Finding time when our mentees and us have the same time to meet can get difficult also. I have given up on trying to meet with all of my mentees at the same time. It is easier to meet one on one but it is more difficult and more time on my end.

I have been trying to schedule appointments with my mentees ahead of time so that we can work together on improving technology skills or working on projects. Two of my five mentees have been incorporating technology into a unit so we've been spending a lot of time meeting, planning and working with the classes on these projects. But to make this all work, we had to discuss which days we were available, when we wanted to work with the classes and just make sure we had all of the dates and times planned ahead of time. Then there were no excuses.

The other 3 mentees haven't had much time to give to me yet. We do things as they are needed but with other committments that these teachers have, it has been very difficult meeting with them. I know when we had our 1/2 day release time that they loved learning the technology but said "if only they had the time to just play". Especially for those who are at the Entry or Adoption level - they need time to play.
