She chirped thanks and set Bear to tearing it. One egg, a larger mottled one, opened. A bronze! Another, slightly smaller, opened up. A blue rolled from the shell. they ate so fast that Bear hardly had time to tear off enough pieces. A green and another bronze were Hatched and dove for the kill. They ate it without Bear tearing and soon he gave up. He left the kill to hum with his siblings. One more broke revealing another green, the other mottle one revealed yet another bronze. The queen egg was now the only one left to Hatch. A piece popped out from the top and its head poked through the thick membrane in the shell. It screached horribly and struggled to escape from the confinement of its shell. The firt three to Hatch were done, bellies literally bulging with the impressions of their first meal. The new queen broke free and zipped to the meal, pushing others out of her way and forcing the other green away. The last two bronzes were full and joined their siblings, mother, aunts, and uncles. The queen finished too and left. The adults joined the kill and feasted themselves. Much was left and Farli gestured to Buckcherry to finish it.
