>See, I never really bought that. The greatest archer of that comic line "misfiring"? He just wanted the fucker dead, that's all. I don't think Hawkeye gets enough shit about that.

I apologize. Lemme clarify a bit further. Hawkeye plugged the barrel of Egghead's gun, with an arrow, to prevent him from shooting Hank Pym. Egghead tried to fire the weapon anyhow, which exploded, killing Egghead. Not the smartest move for someone who was supposed to be a super-genius, but even Egghead gets a bit flustered, as we all do sometimes, trying to shoot Hank Pym. So, Hawkeye never really missed, does he ever?

I agree wholeheartedly about Electro - you establish the man in a yellow/green costume since Amazing Spider-Man issue 9. Don't tinker with it! Cook up some new villains (like this new Fusion fellah), don't try and tinker with the old one's costumes!

They tried the same shenanigans with Mysterio. They took off the glass-dome helmet and replaced it with a cloud of green mist hovering around his head - they also had a lil' outline of a naughty smile which you could clearly see through the mist. Marvel... unacceptable! They changed it back later. Whew! (I did enjoy seeing him without his helmet in a scene similar to the "unmasking" of Anakin Skywalker in Return of the Jedi. Poor Quentin Beck was just an old man with a respirator up his nose. Unless it was just another illusion! Sneaky Mysterio. What is real? What is not? I DON'T KNOW!)
