Several big horse trailers come into view, towed by some very expensive trucks. The lead trailer has the words: Shady Lane Farms printed on itÕs side in large, bold letters. Both vehicles stop and handlers come pouring out of the doors, knowing it was best not to keep their horses together for very long. A deep, masculine bugle sounds from the first trailer, answered shortly by many others. The people quickly open the doors and a man steps inside one of the trailers, emerging with a magnificent bay stallion.
The horse brings his head up, nostrils flared and auds pricked as he surveys this new territory. The man gives a gentle tug on the lead and the stallion resumes following him. The man hands his lead over to another person. She takes him off to the side and begins walking him in circles, showing off his powerful build and gentle temperament.

Name: All Ablaze
NN: Blaze
Breed: Arabian
Gender: Stallion
Age: 9
Color: Bay
Height: 15.2
Personality: Very self assured and relaxed. HeÕs a dream to handle and is very good around mares. He is still a stallion however and should be treated as such. DonÕt let his gentle personality get to you too much, he might catch you off guard.
Discipline:HeÕs spent a lot of time in the show ring and has earned many titles in English Pleasure and Halter. HeÕs currently being used just for stud and pleasure riding though he could do some jumping. He produces gorgeous, athletic foals.
The man returns to the trailer and leads out a gleaming chestnut. The stallion snorts and prances at the end of the lead, following the man down to another handler who holds him still at one side. The stallionÕs glossy pelt gleams in the light. He raises his head and solemnly survey the area, the image of magnificence.

Name: Conflict
NN: Crash
Breed: Arabian
Gender: Stallion
Age: 10
Color: Dark Chestnut
Height: 15.3
Personality: This stallion has somewhat of a split personality. He can be an extremely sweet, courteous guy one minute and then be fighting the reins and pulling pranks the next. He has a wonderful presence and can be somewhat intimidating at times.
Discipline: Has competed a bit in Western Pleasure and Halter but enjoys working cows or running cross-country courses. HeÕs a wonderful stud though rather dominating with mares. He produces excellent foals. Pretty much and all-around horse.
Another stallion is brought out. He bugles and dances around his handler. The man finally brings him under control and leads him a short ways apart from the other studs. The horseÕs hide is glistening with sweat as he works himself up into a state of high excitement.

Name: Tidal Blade
NN: Blade
Breed: Arabian
Gender: Stallion
Age: 5
Color: Liver Chestnut
Height: 16.2
Personality: Fiery and independent. HeÕs quite hard to control and is definitely not for the faint of heart. HeÕs big and beautiful and he knows it. HeÕll often try to throw his weight around to get what he wants. He needs discipline but often reacts violently when punished. He has wonderful conformation and bloodlines. Taking the time to bring him around could prove very worth-while. Acts very studly around mares, prone to struting and bugling.
Discipline: Failed miserably in Halter for poor behavior but could go in any direction the involves fast paced, high energy sports. HeÕs a hard worker when heÕs really enjoying what he does. Could be used as a stud in the future, if not for his personality then for his awesome movement and athletic build.
That truck and trailer leave the scene as a women goes into the next trailer. Squeals and crashes echo from within for some time before the lady finally brings out a trembling young stallion. His eyes roll with fear, his dark chestnut hide already lathered white. ItÕs all she can do to hold him as he struggles against the rope. She speaks softly but nothing she can do will calm him.

Name: Titan
NN: Ty
Breed: Thoroughbred
Gender: Stallion
Age: 4
Color: Dark Chestnut
Height: 17
Personality: Formerly full of fire and spirit. He was very brave but also intelligent and wouldnÕt be foolish and do something he knew he couldnÕt. He was very trainable and willing to learn but he could be rebellious when his pride was threatened or when he was just feeling playful. He loved children and would do anything at all for them, the young stallion found trustworthy enough to take the place of the farmÕs gentle old cob and baby sit for hours on end. When young people were not around he had a need for speed and couldn't stay still long. He is no longer his natural self. The victim of abuse, he is now shy and skittish, flinching at the sight of a rope and unable to stand even a glimpse of a crop. He may be brought around with time and love.
Discipline: Was born and raised at Shady Lane Farms. Came off the race track at the beginning of his three year old campaign due to a leg injury. It healed well and he was sold off at an auction and eventually ended up with cruel owners. He was severely abused but thankfully rediscovered by Shady LaneÕs head trainer and bought back. Shady Lane is a top breeding and training facility and they just didnÕt have the time to work him through his fears. He could go on to be an Eventer or pleasure horse. HeÕs still completely dependable around children, regardless of his bad experiences.
Owner Pref: A kind and patient owner that wonÕt rush him. Preferably with children. He alone can be adopted by a young person, provided they know an adult that can assist with his retraining. However, you don't have to be real young to adopt him, training will just be a little harder.
The next person steps into the trailer and unloads a handsome gray stallion. The horse follows quietly at his handlerÕs side, glancing around him with little interest. He makes no attempt to get out of the way as Blade aims a kick his direction. Fortunately for both, the arabian misses and the big thoroughbred continues at a walk around the area.

Name: King's Ransom
NN: King
Breed: Thoroughbred
Gender: Stallion
Age: 7
Color: Gray
Height: 16.2
Personality: A cool, calm stallion that is very self-assured. Humans are no more than a moving feature of the landscape to him and he is very indifferent about them. He seems to ignore people a great deal and is very difficult to form a bond with. HeÕs literally bomb-proof and wonÕt startle at anything or even take notice unless his life depends on it. HeÕs certainly not lazy though, he simply goes through life with a ÔdonÕt careÕ or Ôdo I have to?Õ additude. The only thing he truly loves is jumping. ItÕs the only thing that can put spark in his eyes. HeÕs a very aggressive jumper and can place well in nearly any level.
Discipline: Jumper through and through. He can be used for pleasure riding, endurance, or about anything else that suits your fancy. heÕs very athletic and can do it all but other sports seem to seriously bore him. Can be used as a stud. His babies all inherit his amazing athletic ability but normally gain the mirror image of their damÕs personality.
That trailer moves away, leaving only one more. A man steps in and leads out a handsome bay stallion. The horse walks calmly at his leaderÕs side, glancing curiously around at all the new sights. The man gives him a friendly pat which is answered with an appreciative nicker as he stops him at the edge of the crowd.

Name: The Perfect Code
NN: Cody
Breed: Quarter Horse
Gender: Stallion
Age: 7
Color: Bay
Height: 16
Personality: A very calm, easy-going stallion. He loves to run but will respond to the slightest cue. HeÕs absolutely a dream to handle, never showing any bad temper at all. Simply a kitten. HeÕs very dependable and sweet. The only down side is the fact that he is very sensitive. A harsh word or a whip will crush him.
Discipline: Barrel racing and cow work. HeÕs very athletic and fast and he passes this, as well as sweet personalities, on to his foals. HeÕs very easy to handle around mares and though he may strut and show off like any other stallion you never have to worry about him trying to take off. He can be used as a kidÕs horse as well.
A young women walks up into the trailer and removes the last horse. A flashy paint dances at her side, snorting and nickering and, in short, making a pest of himself. She slaps him on the nose as he tries a playful nip. Unchastened, he turns his head the other direction, whinnying a greeting to the nearest stallion.

Name: The Snazzy Side
NN: Color
Breed: Paint
Gender: Stallion
Age: 4
Color: Chestnut
Height: 15.3
Personality: A wild child. HeÕs spunky and full of go but if he respects you and knows whoÕs boss he responds very nicly. HeÕs very smart. If he knows he can get away with something heÕll walk all over you. Still, heÕs a sweet guy and will find his way into your heart some way or another. Definietly needs an advanced rider whoÕll make him mind and take him places. HeÕs got great potential.
Discipline: Could go any direction. HeÕs broke to ride but hasnÕt been trained for a specific sport yet.
The man holding Cody puts his hands to his mouth and bellows to anyone interested: ÒHorses for sale! WeÕve got some nice horses for sale! Come and get Ôem!Ó
The assembled stallions stir but seem unalarmed by the manÕs loud call.
Owner Pref: All horses require an ACTIVE, competent owner above the age of 17(with the exception of Titan). They need to be treated like stallions because thatÕs what they are. I believe in playing very realistically. These horses donÕt speak human so donÕt expect them to talk to you with words. They all have players. Take no more than 3 MAX. Thanx.
