That is why the south shore is not as nice as the north shore of long island. the people on the south shore really could care less about anything old.
The south shore is all about every thing new and because they think it means money. Little do they know that people with money don't go south of 25a. If you go north of 25a and off the main roads it is all old buildings.

yet they all have their place. I took a good look at the outside of the Asgard today from the lot of the auto parts store and I can see how at one time it very well may have been a mill.

I have tools and clocks and books and other items over a hundred years old. Some heirlooms , many collected at tag sales, if you like old stuff you'd be impressed with what I have.

Yet the Asgard has been changed far from what it once was. Year Renovated 1984. There are many better examples of grist mills in the region. The roads and structures around the Asgard make it difficult to have it """"bringing in revenue."" There is no """"Moratorium"""" that affected the fate of the Asgard. The village has little need to support another old building just due to it's old. Especially one that is now changed so much that it's classed as a Restaurant, Full Service And Beverages NOT historic old building , If I were the owner who is not listed online but can be found in the records in Minneola , I would just abandon it than keep paying taxes on it. Let the village have it and have to pay for its CARE or DEMOLITION

note the assessors records only go back to 1926 or so , so according to those records nothing is older than 1926

So does Davisons own the asgard or rent the old parking of the Asgard, and wasn't there a mesage that Davisons always puts up the Republican signs. So is this the fate of the Asgard
