Subject: Shame About the Scum

Hi,
Sorry to barge in on your forum but I feel extremely angry at the actions of a Hull fan at the game V York on Saturday.

An idea was suggested to take our bucket collection to your new stadium in order to make the most of a large crowd of football fans who may sympathise with our current plight. Following encouragement from Tigers who visited the York forum last week, enquiries were made and the stadium agreed to let us collect outside the away turnstiles.
We had a number of kind comments from various Hull fans which backed up the ones we received at the game in December.
We were just about to finish rattling our buckets at about 14.55 when a gust of wind blew a £5 note out which eventually landed next to a queue for the Hull turnstiles. At this point, a Hull fan stepped on the money to prevent it blowing away, he picked it up and put it in his back pocket whilst saying to the fan who chased after it, “It’s mine now”. A nearby policeman said he was unable/unwilling to help!!
I know this is just one piece of scum amongst many thousands of respectable, friendly, law-abiding Hull fans but I felt I had to bring this to your attention.
The person responsible for this was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and a beige cap, he used turnstile 47 closest to the away fans entrance.
If this is you or you think you know this person and a little bit of guilt may be being felt, any donations would be warmly received at:

If anyone is not too clued up at the reasoning behind our troubles, you may be interested to read this site:

Thank you for your time and support,
Kroy.

Yes, it's annoying, and the person responsible is a dickhead. However....

York must have raised hundreds if not thousands of pounds from Hull fans. Your message could have said thanks for that. In fact you didn't seem that thankful, you just chanted Sign on, You'll Never Get A Job etc at us. That's gratitude for you.
