He was trotting home. No new scar. But a red was at his tail, prancing behind him cheerfully but keeping a low head. By his wrinkled nose he seemed unfamiliar to the land and by his scent he came from the sea. Salt and sand found there way here very seldom. Those who came from the sea usually remained. Ash seemed not concerned with the red's presence, but more alert to the company about. Would anywolf be in their tundra? They seemed to do no less than reunite then scatter these past seasons. Ash hoped and hoped and the first thing he saw, while trotting back home, was Ice Baby.
