Soft flutes did lift as a melody of sorrow drifted over the arctic zephyr. Orbs of steel like blue drifted over the near barren landscape. The grass had grown long with lack of pack rompings, even the elk had failed to migrate this way in years. Yet despite all this Mist spotted the source of the cry and tail did twitch and flick in an excited wagging motion. Onyx was the coloring of the she-wolf, but unlike Black Ice this one was smaller and more timid. It had been moons since the silver nymph had spotted the female, but even in all that time the alpha female could not forget those she once called her own...her pack. Muzzle tainted in silver and grey lifted to the sky in echoing harmony to that of the first cry, though soon after it had escaped pelts of black lope was taken in the direction of the female and a joyous yelp lifted. "Ice Baby?" Pausing mere inches from the other she waited, dial raised and tail upright, waiting to see if the female would recognize her and concede for then they could great each other as old friends.
