Dear God,

As I bow to you in prayer, I will not ask why these things have to happen to so many innocent people. I will not ask how you can let these horrific things occur on earth as I am not here to judge you or anybody else. You have blessed my life in so many ways and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the blessings that surround me.

I will ask you to do me a favor. You have received a whole lot of new angels this week and could you please give them a hug from the ones left here on earth and tell them they are so loved and so missed by not just their families but a nation and world full of people?? Their deaths will not be in vain but most of us know they are in a much better place than we are.

Please give comfort to the children who have been so affected by the week's events. They are so young and do not have enough of life's experiences under their belts to be able to comprehend such a vile act of hatred. I ask that you watch over all my friends and family and protect them from harm. Our lives will forever be changed and hopefully this will lead more people to you then ever before. You are our rock and our salvation.

I also ask that you be with the leaders of our country. Please give them the strength and wisdom to do the right thing and protect them. No one is certain what to expect in the future but with your guidance we will endure.

Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
