The first step to true personal enlightenment/contentment is to go WITH the flow of traffic! Pop therapy, that's what I'm talking about. Cast off the trappings of your "underground," and come with me to a land of no return, a beautiful place where Christina Aguilera is the pretty pretty princess, and
EVERYONE is accepted.

You can, like a million-zillion others in the "know," amass an obscene record collection (vinyl purism a definite "plus".. fuck.) and untold (mental) volumes of useless indie musick factoid, but you would do so at the cost of your dignity.

You will wear the dread symbol "D" for dumbshit, and your family standard will not be two glorious snakes intertwined in deadly combat, like the great Thulsa Doom's, but two pale, pimply Dutch men entangled in a hot and heavy gay 69er.

And so, therefore, choose wisely. Buy JUST ONE MORE CD from Thrill Jockey's back catalog, or get with the f'n program and pick up the new single from Destiny's Child.
