Subject: If you don't watch "Felicity", you might like my surreal short, "Waking" at IFILM!

Hi everyone,

Most of the time, I stop by the electronica, industrial, experimental, underground, and classical/opera boards to see what other people have to say, and occasionally share my views with like-minded people. I get so tired of the same old bullshit day in day out. On the radio, in the office, coming from the idiotic critics and mainstream media heads...Sorry, I'm venting.

Anyway, more importantly, I'VE RECENTLY FINISHED SEVERAL SHORT FILMS, now that may sound wild, but it's not. I've raised money, and turned my obsessions outwards. I have two short films that've played at numerous film festivals and even won an award ("Independent Filmmaker Award" 1999 Fort Worth Film Festival) for one of them. Together, they've shown at the 1998 and 1999 Fort Worth Film Festival, 1998 Freaky Film Festival, Santa Monica Film Festival, The Sync On-line film festival, Slamdance, Dallas Video Festival 2000, and more...Oh, and I got licensed (festival rights only) music by Meat Beat Manifesto. Only an excerpt of a track, but it marries well with the intense noirish nightmare images I put together.

Well, anyways, since I value you folks' judgement and thoughts, I wanted to invite you to view them, while they're up on the web. Now some people may not get "it", or feel weirded out by the experience, but just think back to the older Hitchcock movies ("39 Steps", "The Lodger"), and as far back as the German movies "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" and "Nosferatu", and I think you'll get the idea. They're pretty personal but also just a way to experiment with actors, images, sounds, and different forms of musical composition. WARNING: THESE ARE NOT FOR LIMITED OR CLOSE-MINDED PEOPLE. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE TWO THINGS, THEN YOU MAY WANT TO INSTEAD GO SEE "WHATEVER IT TAKES" OR LEAVE THE ROOM. sorry 'bout that...

My short "Waking" is over at www.ifilm.com, just go to "SEARCH", and type in "Waking". I really hope you like it, and would love to hear your feedback. It's more apt to be understood or appreciated by folks who love music and fine art, that teens or mainstream audiences. Oh, and if you vote for it, please be kind.

Take care, and God bless, and be SINcere with your friends,

"Nobody' is in the "narrative" section at www.thesync.com/festival. It was voted #1 for February and March 2000. This screened at multiple festivals.
