Hi Fellow redleg! I was on gun 2 or 4 'don't remember'. I was one of the first replacements in. The original gang came as a unit in July 68. I got there Nov 68. Then somewhere around Mar of 69, 1/2 of the originals were transfered to a Kentucky Na'tl guard arty unit in an even swap. Sgt Brown was one of the guardman he was killed by a grenade tossed by a dink from behind our hootch.

I was in contact with Greg White recently you may have not known him as he was an original member and left in July. He was the one who gave 3 nicknames out, that stand to this day. ROOKIE, PEACHES, and SPACEMAN.

Have a good Veteran's day, at least we aren't be remembered on the other day 'Memorial'.
