Hi Tom,
I saw your message on the bulletin board. I don't rember or know the guys, but I was with the 576th from Sep. 26, 1967 to 1968. I was a radio operator for the Long Bien Ammo depot, but I slept at the 576th Unit and received my mail there. I received pictures by email from one guy who had observed the depot explosions during the 68 TET Offensive when we got overrun by a 200 man unit of the NVA. etc...just wanted to write to a fellow 576th man. I haven't found anyone else from the unit, but haven't looked to hard as I can't remember more than three or four guys names of the many I served with their...Robert Pappas, Roger Honaker, Major Cote, Capt. Tiffany, Lt. Drewers, Lt. Caplin, Lt. Flag...most of those guys were with the 25th Infantry perimeter guards and the attached M.P. platoon for gate guards. They were the day to day people I associated with, since I was in the bunker radio Security Operation Center 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Email me if you remember anything or find out anything...a fellow Vietnam Buddy, Larry
