Hey Ryan, really like the page. It's pretty cool that you put a carb. motor in your truck. I've got a 1988 Dakota with a 383 Big block mopar. The motor was an original 2 barrel motor from 1971. The motor was rated at 300hp stock. I put a set of headers, dual plane intake, 800 holley mechanical, a little bit of cam, 2800 stall convertor, 3:23 gears. The motor only has 7.8:1 compression (which will change this year when i put my ported and shaved 906 440 cylinder heads on) I finished the truck in april 2001 and took her down the quartermile last june. I had a couple of problems with the ignition at first but later turned a 13.60 @ 106 mph with tire spin. I'm hoping that by this coming summer to get around 480hp with a cam, cylinder heads, and an intake change to be able to blow off a low 12 with 3:91's and a set of slicks. This was my first project and i'm only 24. It's cool to see that there is someone else out there who thinks like me! Ryan, keep up the good work. I'll send you a couple of pics.
