I agree with Ani, Jack. Get it X-rayed just so you know what the damage is. If there's a break and it doesn't heal properly you could have longer term problems.

Now, if you lived in the UK with its increasingly litigious behaviour you'd be encouraged to sue the store! Fair enough if they haven't made sufficient provisions for protecting their customers.

I hope it clears up. Sounds like you have the Scottish male medical syndrome (which I also have)....soldier on and don't go to the doctor until something falls off. My dad was the same. There's a strong cultural tendency there.
