Thanks guys all the support is greatly appreciated.
Claire was a real trooper when I turned her in, just walked away from me like she was going on a great adventure. They are immediately evaluated on seven different points, she got "great" (highest grade) on all seven. She is definteily a dog who will do a great job for her blind person assuming she graduates, process takes about 5-6 months total. Claire is my 15th, I have had only one failure, which is a pretty good track record. Goes to show what great dogs I have had the pleasure to raise. Five have gone to foreign countries. 2 are in Spain, 1 in Argentina, 1 in Mexico and last one to Chile. Rest are in U.S.
IF (big IF) I do raise again it will be after Claire graduates. We get to meet the blind person if they would like to meet us (this started after my 6th one graduated)and I have had the luck of meeting each one and have a relationship with the English speaking ones. That is wonderful so I know how "my" dogs are doing.
LD has now expanded into Taiwan so I am a little nervous about one of my dogs going there. This may put a stop to me raising.
