What worries me is not the information that was leaked but the number of people who apparently have access to such info, I read in one paper that is was up to 3 million people have access to this, and also why supposedly confidential information was held in such a public place. The next lot is supposed to be on UFOs etc, which will be interesting, provided that it is published, and to be honest some of what was leaked this time was hardly news, such as the supposed special relationship between USA and UK. Special relationship my bum!!! I don't want to offend anyone with strong American feelings here, so if you are easily offended look away now, but there hasn't been a special relationship for years and years. Maggie & Regan did have a good rapport, but for the most case Britain has been virtuall ytreated as a satellite of the USA (and Blair with his poodle=like tendancies didn't help matters there!!!) for many years. It was Germany's continued invasions of sovereign states in WWI that finally swayed the US to come in in 1916, and Pearl Harbour that made them come in in WWII, before that they were very happy to let us have armaments but we paid through the nose for them and it took 50 years to pay for the Martial Aid that we had, whereas the European countries were given aid, and we virtually had to dump our Empire as well, so certainly no special relationship there. Anyway, enough about that rant beause it may well upset some, but I do have strong feelings on that score (maybe I shouldn't have studied European history frm the mid 1800s upto WWII for O levels, a little knowledge etc......). I do think it reprehensible (that's a nice word) to have so much info available to so many though, its a leak waiting to happen, and for it to apparently all have come from a young American serviceman makes it all the more damaging from US's point of view. Whether he has been made the scapegoat I don't know, but I certainly wouldn't want to be in his shoes unless I had been paid incredibly well and could disappear somewhere where there was no extradition treaty and I could live as someone else.

(Rant over for the day, someone else's turn now, but let's keep it relatively sociable and polite)
