She gained power by the skin of her teeth with the help of independent's support. So she's in the position she's dammed if she does and dammed if she "don't!!!!! If she shows too much emotion she's not strong enough to be a Prime Minister. if doesn't show any she's a hard hearted Bi.ch. They - and by this I probably mean the wonderful Australian media - criticise her clothes, her hair, her make-up her shoes even. I've never known them to do the same to a male PM. There is more than likely a faction behind her, but then there are factions behind every president, PM or head of state in every country. At least she had the honesty to state that she was an atheist which shocked a few people. To be honest I'm over all politicians, in Australia the left have moved to the right of middle ground, the former liberals are now full blown conservatives with all their poor attributes and hardly any of their positive ones, and unfortunately the Greens has gained a little power and are now learning very quickly to play the popularity game to keep their seats. But the truth is we always get the government we deserve. Ahhh I think I'm going to sit in a cave and contemplate my navel until the 21 December 2012, I think that's the latest date for the prediction of the end of the world. Once I'm sure it's going to happen on that date I plan to max out my credit card on the best French champagne and Belgian chocolates and pass into oblivion LOL
