~+~*there was an empty feeling in your stomach, and the hairs on the back of your neck and arms were standing on end. you glance over to a hill, where a ghost was sitting and watching. it stands, and runs foreward towards the group. nobody woke, and you dared not try and run. it stops inches from your face, then backs off. it sits down, and sighs.*~+~
my name is okapi, protecting spirit-and living incarnation- of the silver moon. for moment i thought you were the other people...
~+~*the silver moon was alive after all, and you were.... talking to it?*~+~
the fauns keep the moon safe. when it was invaded, faun after faun was slaughtered except the ones who fled, hid, or knew how to fight. less that a third of them remain. with each creature of my realm that dies, i become weaker. most of the invaders are humans, so i decided to look over here.

ill let you in on a little seceret. the spirit living inside the world you came from is growing considerably weaker. the elves are doing all they can to keep her intact, but their strongest had to set off for the unicorn worlds. the queen, poor queen, had to return to the planet the last week. so now the elves are queenless, and following the un-offical princess who is trying to keep everything in order. the life stream has been tampered with, its energy is depleteing. the spirits of dieing creatures are having trouble getting to it because dark forces are locking it out. and, with each dark spirit that maiko banishes, a new spirit enters the life stream. the last spirit inside his body grows stronger.... if it is allowed to take over his body, he will turn evil, and use his magic to freeze and destroy the universe. humans with powerful magic and pure hearts are hard to find, so i will mourn when it happens.

i.... have been talking to maiko..... he dosnt plan to give his body up, but he knows the spirit will kill him. i understand what he means, and perhaps you should learn how to find the spirit of your world from him before he passes. you havent got long..... i must depart, and return to the moon. best wishes be with you..... oh, and before i go, ill transport you to the life stream. perhaps you can learn some things from the spirits there..... only 3 remain, one of whitch is very evil. so, be carefull.
