I try to visit a forum, and after checking a few posts I have 18 popup windows in my dekstop. The worst of which is from ShamelcoElectronics (http://www.shamelcoelectronics.com, a location which I hate ever so much), whose popup automatically sizes itself to fill your entire screen, (can't even get to your taskbar) and acts as one of those shitty new IE windows that has no close, minimize, or any other buttons, and only offers a scroll bar. There's no "Close Window" button, and the onlyway to get out is to alf-f4. This causes another window with the same content to pop up, just not screen filling. It's companies like this that make the internet a lousy experince for the new people. I mean what the fuck do they expect? Do they think that someone who is forced onto their site with no clear way out is going to give them loads of cash? It's not like it matters to them, because if only .001 percent of their advertising hits it's mark they can still make a profit. I hope they shrivel up and die. And to the people at microsoft who added the ability to create such popupwindows as a "Feature" to enhance the internet experience of the user: Fuck you. Hard. With a broom.
