Her face lit up with delight when she saw what he'd brought for her and she took them from him with no feelings of guilt whatsoever. She should be eating healthy, and she did, for the most part, but she was carrying a small melon of a baby around in her belly, and that was hard work - she deserved to treat herself once in a while. She nodded a little bit at the question he'd offered her. "Yeah, tell her we'll be there with bells on. Wouldn't miss it." She leaned over to press a kiss to his cheek, easily. She liked to spend time with her family too, but it was his family that was much more in favor of this baby than hers at the moment, so she was more than willing to spend some time where she knew she was loved.
