She had a habit of springing to tears -- she was pointedly weepy almost all the time now, but she supposed it was the elevated hormones making her crazy, but scalding tears sprung to her eyes when he said that, and she kept her face hid against his chest for a few more moments before she looked up, her eyes filled with tears and her cheeks stained with their tracks.
