Subject: "Lullaby" Promo Description

Narrator: Next Monday on the WB...

We open on a shot of a bedraggled Darla, on her knees next to Angel and she looks up to him.

Cut ot a shot of a concerned Angel. Behind him we can see a banner on the wall saying "Caritas! Grand Re-Opening"

Cut to a close up of Cordelia. This is an exterior shot, at night.

Narrator: The time has come

Graphics show the word "PROPHECY"

Narrator: A prophecy is fulfilled

Graphics show the word "CHILD"

Narrator: A child is born

Cut to an exterior shot of a standing Darla and a leaning Angel. This may be on a rooftop.

Darla: "You'll protect it, right?"

Graphics show the word "DARKNESS"

Narrator: Now, the forces of darkness will seek a new born power

Graphics show the word "POWER"

Cut to a close up of a wide-eyed Gunn, Fade to a shot of a wide-eyed Fred. Both of them are looking towards their left.

VO (Angel): "This whole thing has been a miracle."

Cut to a shot from abov the alley, as the MoG rush to help Darla. Darla is laid out in the back seat, with her head on the passenger side of the car. Gunn is reaching in to help her. Wesley is standing in the driver's seat, prepared to help with the delivery. Cordelia is standing on the driver's side, holding a stake up in her hand at the ready. Fred is at the trunk of the car, rushing to help Gunn.

Narrator: Witness the birth of Angel's son.

Cut to a close up shot of Darla in labor, followed by Darla pushing her arms and legs out, then some force flinging the MoG backwards away from the car.

We hear the sounds of a baby crying.

Cut to a shot of lightning striking down from the sky.

Cut to a shot of Holtz, lurking in the shadows, backlit by a burning fire. He has a crossbow.

Narrator: The episode that changes everything.

Cut to a shot of Angel and Fred, standing in the rain, holding Angel's son.

Cut back to a close up of Holtz as he raises his crossbow and aims at Angel.

We end with a shot of Fred and Angel standing in the rain, with Holtz in the foreground with his crossbow trained on Angel. Fred is caressing the baby, while Angel is holding him but looking up at Holtz.

Narrator: Angel, next Monday on the WB.

Grr, Argh.
