You bring up some great points. For some reason (I guess since every other show has done this), people think a baby just *can't* be a consistent character on a show and have the show not jump the shark. I hope the writers have the courage to pursue Angel and hopefully Darla taking care of the baby.

You know for some reason I keep thinking of that moment when Holtz has Angel, baby, and Fred cornered. So I came up with two more theories.

1) Darla mentioned that something is protecting the baby. Will this *something* still be protecting the baby after it's born? Maybe that's what prevents Holtz from killing Angel since he's holding the baby.

2) Someone kills Holtz.

Remember also that spoiler from Joss about Angel going to a very dark place this year like last but for a different reason?

Do you think that the baby will get kidnapped eventually? I can see that causing Angel's dark avenger mood. I doubt they'll kill the baby, but I can't see W&H just giving up after their first operation failed or any other group.

I wonder if the person that W&H mailroom guy called will come into play later. Maybe he possibly kidnaps the baby or kills Holtz?

So MANY questions!
