A HEAVENLY PERFORMANCE BY "ANGEL," WHICH ACHIEVES BEST TIME PERIOD RATINGS SINCE 1998 IN ADULTS 18-34, WOMEN 18-34, MEN 18-34, PERSONS 12-34, ADULTS 18-49 & MEN 18-49

"7TH HEAVEN" PLACES #1 IN ITS TIME PERIOD IN WOMEN 12-34 AND IN TEENS & FEMALE TEENS

BURBANK, CA (November 13, 2001) The ascending ANGEL coupled with yet another standout performance by 7TH HEAVEN drove The WB to equal its best Monday ratings ever in adults 18-34 (3.1/8) and adults 18-49 (3.0/7) and its best output since 1998 in men 18-34 (2.2/6) and men 18-49 (2.1/5).

ANGEL led the way, scoring The WB's best ratings in the Monday, 9 p.m. time period since 1998 in key 12-34, 18-34 and 18-49 demos as the show continues to establish itself as a stand-alone franchise.

ANGEL scored time-period-best ratings since 1998 in adults 18-34 (2.9/7) and equaled the best numbers in three seasons in persons 12-34 (3.1/8), women 18-34 (3.3/7), men 18-34 (2.5/6), adults 18-49 (2.5/6) and men 18-49 (2.2/5). The action-adventure show also scored season highs in women 18-49 (2.9/6), household rating (3.2/5) and total viewers (5.2 million).

ANGEL, which scored significant across-the-board week-to-week growth in its second November sweep performance, improved its time period over the parallel week last season in persons 12-34 (+7%), men 12-34 (+47%), adults 18-34 (+38%), women 18-34 (+3%), men 18-34 (+150%), adults 18-49 (+25%) and men 18-49 (+100%).

ANGEL was #1 in its time period in teens (3.6/11) and female teens (4.7/16). The show also defeated NBC's Third Watch and Monday Night Football in women 12-34 with a 3.7/9.

The WB's highest-rated show continues to cook this season, 7TH HEAVEN, finished #1 in its time period, and #2 for the entire night, in women 12-34 (6.0/16) and #1 for the night in teens (6.1/18) and female teens (9.3/28). 7TH HEAVEN achieved a season high in adults 18-49 (3.5/9) and women 18-49 (5.0/11), while equaling its best of the season in adults 18-34 (3.4/9). Its 2.1/5 in men 18-49 was the family drama's second best output of the season and its 4.1/11 in persons 12-34 and 8.6 million viewers were its best in four weeks.

The WB also scored its best ratings of the season in women 18-49 (3.9/9) and equaled its best Monday nightly of the season in persons 12-34 (3.6/9) and men 12-34 (2.4/6), which marks its best performance in more than a year, while scoring its second best rating of the season in women 18-34 (4.0/9).

The WB was #2 on Monday in women 12-34 (4.8/12), #1 in teens (4.8/15) and female teens (7.0/22) and tied CBS in persons 12-34 (4.8/12) and beat ABC in women 18-34 (4.0/9).
