I expected Cordy to be very hostile to Darla and extremely angry with Angel. Then again, in the ep she could be doing just this and the blurb about her taking Darla's side is just the WB's way of grabbing our attention.

I've always liked Cordy and to tell you the truth, ever since Harmony appeared last year, I thought she was in desparate need of a female friend. I like Fred, but she's got a fluttering bird personality that doesn't quite mesh with Cordy's take charge mentality. I've always thought Cordy and Darla had something in common. Cordy, back at AtS season 1 was a desperate woman and probably would have started prostituting herself if Angel hadn't come in and rescue her.

Darla, Fred, and Cordy could be the women on AtS that can band together in a male-dominated world.

I just got a flash: Darla gives birth to the Little Poofter, she and Angel get all parental and we get a cozy scene of Angel Investigations gathered around the birthbed, basking in the arrival of the littlest member of Angel Investigation. Intense music a la the end of the Trial cues up and we see Holtz, large and terrible, sweep into the room and snatches the little baby out of Darla and Angel's arms. End of credits.

I'm hoping to god we at least get one episode where Angel tries to get used to being a dad and scenes of him holding the little baby.

I'm a sap, aren't I?
