Yeah, it's no problem. She gave me permission to use that theory. I'll pass your kind words along.

Exactly. When it comes to Angel, for Darla, it's a different story. And you were not the only one annoyed by those assumptions. I think I have a pretty good grasp on the character and no way could I see her doing evil randomly for the sake of it. All that time during season 2 not once did she go after Cordelia and Wesley, and mind you, both of them verbally attacked her in "The Trial" when she was *dying.*

Darla's got class. And I wouldn't be surprised if she was beginning to fall in love with him, not Angelus but Angel, in The Trial.

I think that's wonderful. Darla's special anyway you look at her and yeah, that's one theory of many. Darla and Angel's physical makeup may be responsible for the baby.

>I'll also say this that even though Darla was treated

Exactly. There's a huge contrast between her behavior in Reprise in comparison to her behavior in Epiphany. What struck me was how upset she was. When she said "I trusted you! I believed . . .," it just confirmed that she'd been carrying what Angel did for her in The Trial with her all that time.

The camera

You just stated why I couldn't stand Angel after Epiphany. His treatment of her was every bit as callous and degrading, esp. in light of the fact that he knew of her previous profession back in the day unlike before. I couldn't believe he could be so harsh.

I still can't get that look of her sitting on the couch in complete silence. She looked depressed and my heart bled for her.

>In Hearthrob, the sleazy guy who offers Darla a drink

Exactly. I noticed that too so you aren't seeing things. =) She gave him a few chances to live but once he dropped the bomb, how could she resist? He eventually represented everything she hated about men.

Me neither. I hope Darla gets some major digs at Angel when she sees him. You know, just to tell him off and make him realize some things. I'm expecting it on some level but I'm not sure.

=)
