Exactly and me neither. In a way she's like Angel this year. Both of them can't be or aren't loved romantically.

I really think it was Joss trying to feel where the fandom was leaning.

I think there was some desperation in those posts. To me it was obviously not Lindsey. Everytime he came on to her, she played with him.

I also think that one of the major issues is that some are comparing Darla to present day prostitution and occupation standards which isn't fair. Also like you said not too many of these people know exactly the conditions and struggles women had to experience during Darla's time. To think she just chose prostitution on a whim and thought it'd be fun doesn't reflect the truth.
