It took all the self control I had not to flame and cuss at all those ingnorant people who were bashing her...but I was a good Amanda and stayed nice.
I replied to the thread about her acts not being noble. They were saying that she was selfish and it was cheap ect. I posted:

I thought it was believable. In actuality, she did have a soul...it was just the baby's. And I do think what she did was noble, I mean, she killed herself for her baby. Say what you want, believe what you want, what darla did was noble. See, if Buffy, or Cordy, or Fred, or any other female character did that, she would be idalized, a hero. But because its *darla* every one thinks of it as cheap or selfish, and its just plain ridiculous! I love Darla (as you can tell) and I dont think its logical that everything she does is wrong, or evil or selfish ect. Yes, she's a demon, yes she is souless, but the baby had changed her, and yes she probably would have reverted back to the B*tch we all know and love (some hate lol) becasuse there is nothing she could do about it, it is her nature. But, the truth is, that in that moment,where she loved her baby, *just* that moment,she was souled, and she loved her baby enough to sacrifice herself to make sure it was born, and in my book...that is pretty damn noble!--even if it was just for a moment. Of course, this is jmho ^_^
