I know! It just saddens me to think that Darla will never see or hold her own son after loving him so completely. I just feel so sad for her when she says that this world is a "horrible" one and as a Darla fan, I just want her to see that the world doesn't have to be horrible and it can be beautiful. She's spent so much time dying, she doesn't see the wonder of *living*. I guess this is just the happy ending part of me that desires this for Darla, at least the Darla of Lullaby.
