But the night whispers my name A seductive siren's call that I am unable to ignore You can never see me bare myself to her Fangs gleaming in the seemingly innocent moonlight Muscles rippling with deadly intent You wouldn't understand me this way I must protect you from myself So I hunt alone in this Savage Garden Always alone It was dawn. The thought was one of many that swirled about in his mind like wine sloshed lazily in a delicate flute, waiting to be tasted, exciting him even as he felt himself relax. Chocolate gaze looked around the wooded area as he made his way through the scattered clumps of trees and brush, knowing his way though he had never been here before. A dusty cloak of deep black hung loosely over his solid frame, keeping the biting chill of the stale wind from nawing. He walked on foot, no mount carrying his weight over the long distance he had come, no companion to assure him of his desicion or laugh secretly at his plans. He didn't need them at the moment, so there was no loss felt of their absence. Aiden Savage... it was a reminder of who he was, what he wanted, if he would achieve it. ![]() |
