Only once had Lani seen a truely wild horse before, and it could barely be called such . . . a sick foal was nothing compared to this powerful and beautiful stallion before her. A hand slowly reached into her long cloak, weary to try to not spook him. Her thoughts were racing, you just know what's gonna happen! You just know it! And then Keelin is gonna be angry with you, but not as much as you yourself would be angry with you!

Her thoughts were cut as she slowly reached for the article in the soul inside pocket of her cloak. Just as slowly she drew out a few lumps of sugar, and a carrot. There's absolutely no way he's gonna come close enough for you to hold your hand out . . . but if you throw it you're gonna spook him. Oh well, what else are you supposed to do? She gently tossed out the carrot, it hitting the ground with a medium 'thud'. She cringed slightly, shutting her eyes to mere slits. That wouldn't be good . . . muscles were relaxed, though ready to spring away if the animal went into a frenzy.

Chance and luck were to be of the essence here . . .

Such a game it was.
