Subject: The End of all, the Beginning of None

Confusion is riding upon missiles,
trespassing in our sense of security.
Modest is a long forgotten word,
as colors blur and mesh all flags and nationalities.
Some stand together as one,
and all wish to drive the evil from those hilltops.
Few ask, "What are we doing here."
Surly, the evil would never stop.
The desert terrain cracks like leather
while the snowy caps glisten with no regret.
Mother nature did not intend this to happen,
niether did those poor citizens, lest we forget.
"Get a search warrant!"
Is the cry of frightened neighbors
who are convinced their different friend
is an enemy we unknowingly harbor.
The retaliation just arrived today,
more bombs, more blood, more tears.
Haven't seen this on television
save for the Desert Storm, some ten years.
Kinky, perverted views of how society should be ran.
People in oppression seeking handouts.
A woman with no face behind garments,
led to her execution as Taliban onlookers shout.
Such horrible images sent to us,
leads one to wonder, "You're kidding, right?"
But no. The corruption of power has struck
and rules a fragile and destroyed land with might.
Bin Laden hides while his Taliban plans
to seek out a Jihad upon America.
Will there be more attacks on our land?
Will we fall to paranoid hysteria?
The green screens of night vision cameras
now send this image of bombs and guns.
CNN is recording another history
in the bloody year of two thousand and one.
