Play nice, try to keep something vaguely resembling a story going, and don't post multiple strips in a row. Use the HTML img tag to put up your contribution; yes, this means you have to upload it to some web space of your own somewhere. After posting a strip, let two other people have turns before posting another.

screw 'em .. i say if no one else posts a strip in, say, two days, you can post your strip. unless someone objects in, say, two days. if we're all gonna wait for eachother, this forum/strip/thing will slowly die.. which is a Bad Thing (tm) ... anyway, that rule is there mainly to stop people from developing real storylines (*shiver*) or dominating the forum or anything..

Seconded. -- TechnoAtheist, 16:46:43 12/06/01 Thu (jrconlin.corp.yahoo.com/216.145.57.149)

I agree. And also say that if no-one posts a followup within 72 hours of the last, it's up for grabs. If someone has an actual storyline and no one seems to care, they should be allowed to just go for it.

Does this mean I get to be the first to use the 72 hour rule? Yay. Of course, if Patrick doesn't like our new 72 hour rule thingy, I can always change the name of this file so that it doesn't show up in this post and repost it a few strips from now. I made sure that it wouldn't influence the plot at all so it wouldn't matter if I had to take it down.

I just noticed that there is no longer a link to this page from the main T&R page. Does that mean the end of the caper? That would be a sad way to end it. Normally these impros end when someone volunteers to draw a bunch of strips to bring it to a conclusion. It may be too late for that here, but some nicer resolution would be nice. Also most of the caper seems to be off line now. That's a pity as much of it was very good.
