: ~ noticing the Great Hall is silent...raising herself onto long limbs...padding to the servery to do a chore ~

: ~ combing in a deep bowl a singular garlic clove, crushed peppercorns, allspice and salt...sliding into the chillery for a bottle of cooking wine as well as bosk cubes...adding it to the mixture already in the bowl...dropping the cubes in the bowl to marinade for a time ~

: ~ smoothing a piece of cheesecloth on the counter...adding a bay leaft thyme, a few peppercorns and a garlic clove...tying the bundle and setting aside...using a clean cloth and after about an hour as passed she removes the bosk from the bowl...pressing both the bosk cubes and the garlic dry...bringing out a rather large pot...pouring in some oil and the garlic clove...piling in the beef she sits the pot on the flames in the firepit for a moment to sear...turning the beef with a wooden spoon...once the beef is brown on all sides she takes it back to the counter ~

: ~ pouring in the devine smelling reserved marinade then some bosk stock....disappearing into the chillery again this time for veggies....layering the carrots, onions, turnips and mushrooms in the pot...almost forgetting she drops in the herbs...adding the pot on the flames...dinner will be ready by tonite...hoping Jarl and Mistress like it ~

: ~ after wiping the counters down and washing the dishes...padding thru this slave's home happily...curling herself up in front of the fire in the Great Hall for a time ~
