: ~ peeking into the blackwyne kettle in the firepit...seeing there is almost none there...using a pot holder to retrieve the kettle...setting it aside to clean later...fetching a clean kettle from the storage closet...filling the kettle with clean fresh water from the springs collected in the water barrel...hanging the kettle over the flames to heat ~

: ~ plucking out a handful of expensive beans from their container...dropping them in the grinder...turning the handle many times till the beans have been ground into a fine powder...spreading a piece of cheesecloth over a portion of the counter...pouring the ground beans in...after knotting the top she places the bag of blackwyne inside the water to brew ~

: ~ wetting a rag so she can wipe the counter clean...washing, rinsing and drying the old kettle...tucking it back into it's place in the dry storage closet...padding to the Great Hall to warm ~
