: ~ The silence in the Great Hall lets her know their are no Frees to serve....lifting herself to her feet....padding to the servery to finish the cream ~

: ~ pulling the bowls of setting milk toward her...placing a covered bowl on the counter to store the cream in....finishing around below deck....finding the skimmer a round, almost flat but slightly dished, perforated disc of metal with a long handle....removing the cheesecloths from the three bowls...setting the skimmer gently on top of the milk....sliding the disc smoothly down the surface....watching the cream wrinkle as she does so ~

: ~ after each stroke she taps the side of the skimmer over the bowl....depositing the cream safely inside...resisting the tempetation to take a taste....continuing to skim her way down the length of all three bowls....half way thru she brings a second bowl to the counter because their is to much cream for a single bowl to hold....hoping the Frees find the cream delicious she places the lil covers on them...padding to the chillery she lays the bowls gingerly on the counter....then closing the door she tends to clean up ~
