Jasmine Trias' voice for me is closer to Mariah Carey but only easier to the ear, and Banig Roberto, the Tagalog songbird who won the Star Search junior division more than a decade ago in Hollywood. Camile Velasco is vocally similar to Manila's Saison (Ella May) and Tiffany (Darwisch), the American pop princess in the '80s whose major popularity competition then was the thinly-voiced Debbie Gibson. Camile's voice is only clearer and her range is wider than that of Tiffany. Saison scored a couple of R&B hits on the Billboard charts when she released her 1st English CD for the American market.
