As I mentioned in a mail earlier, we have the option of using voicecom during matches. From what I've seen, some was positive, others negative. Please voice your opinion here too.

Anyways, DiE has a dedicated 24/7 Battlecom-server on ut.online.no wich we can use if we choose to do so. The server is passworded, but if you want to test it, just tell me and I'll send the password to you. As it is now, there's only one channel available for us, wich means we all have to be in the same channel to communicate. Adding more channels shouldn't be a problem though if we want to split up the team.

You will of course have to install Battlecom. The program can be a bit hard to find. If you want it just give me a sign and I'll get it up on my ftp. My connection can handle 10 mbs in/out so getting a decent speed shouldn't be a problem :)

There are both pro's and con's when it comes to using voicecom. There are also issues about the ability to ghost, or at least ghosting from your corpse when you die. Voicecom makes that a lot easier as you are able to keep your teammates updated at all times without having to do all the typing. Voicecom is also an alternative to keybinds. It's easier to focus on your mission and target when you don't have to read all messages. Using voicecom is also a social event. You get to know people better when you are able to speak to them :)

Some might say using voicecom is cheating or at least bending the rules and I have no problem understanding that those arguments. Still, I have yet to see a clan not using voicecom for all it's worth. The clans we are going up against in the league are most certainly going to do the same. Question is, are we?
