Subject: "Am fuirich sinn fada 'n so?"

Because it's not right to let a good challenge just sit there, and because I happen to know someone clever enough and with sufficient resources to figure it out (the same associate from before, if you're playing along at home), I may as well post an attempted translation of what I am told appears to be Scottish Gaelic:

an: interrogative particle (which changes to "am" when used before verbs starting with p, b, m, or f)
fuirich: dwell, abide, stay
sinn: we, us
fada: long, far
an so: here

Leading to a rough translation of, "How long do we have to wait here?" or perhaps "Abide we so long in this place?"
